The first of this seasonís Christmas derbies ended in a 3-0 victory for the Hawks at Westleigh Park as they took on newly promoted Gosport Borough at Westleigh Park.

The first competitive match between the sides for seven years saw the Hawks take the lead in the 28th minute courtesy of another virtuoso solo run from Sahr Kabba. The dazzling striker twisted his way past three defenders, including former Hawk captain Sam Pearce, before finding the net.

Just before the break another one time Hawks player, Brett Poate, was dismissed for a second yellow card after a lunging tackle on Scott Jones.

The Hawks made their advantage count in the second half when Dennis Oli fired home in the 64th minute, and then three minutes into stoppage time Alek Przespolewski sealed the emphatic win when he slid a third goal past Nathan Ashmore.
