The Hawks romped to an eye-opening 5-1 victory against out of sorts Dorchester Town at Westleigh Park on Saturday.

The Hawks started the onslaught in the 14th minute when Dennis Oli headed home a Nic Ciardini corner, and although Dan Way snatched an early equaliser in the 26th minute, the free scoring hosts went on to make it 3-1 at half time with classy finishes by player-of-the-month Scott Jones and Sahr Kabba.

Substitutes Steve Ramsey and Dan Strugnell completed the scoreline in the second half as the Hawks created chance after chance against their dizzy guests, Ramsey first banging home a pass from Kabba and then ten minutes from the end Strugnell heading in a Pedro Montiero cross.

The win keeps the Hawks in the middle of the table in twelfth place.
