Christian Hanson

(Left Defence)
Born 1983
Christian joined Premier League team Middlesbrough in August 2000 as a locally born trainee and progressed through the ranks as one of the side’s most highly rated youth players, having made appearances at the time as an England Under 19. His professional senior debut came after a period of injury saw him loaned to Cambridge United in March 2001, where he made eight appearances in a three month spell. In November 2001 he completed another short loan at Nationwide league Torquay United, and subsequently trialled with Sheffield United and Portsmouth among other teams, as well as spending time with Bristol Rovers.

He signed with the Hawks in October 2002 to provide cover at left back during Liam Daish's extended period of injury and departed quietly at the end of the season.
