Mick Jenkins

Born 1962
Mick's long association with Havant and Waterlooville saw him play for both sides, as well as other local teams Bognor and Newport IoW. He played the role of assistant manager to Both Dick Semark, with whom he came to Havant Town in 1997 from Fareham, and Billy Gilbert before assuming full control with Liam Daish at the end of the Hawks first season in the Premier Division. Under his guidance the team avoided otherwise inevitable relegation.Having steered the side to notable successes in the FA Cup, as well as the semi final of the FA Trophy, Mick was sacked in January 2004 along with co-manager Liam Daish after a long run of poor results left the Hawks in a difficult and seemingly inescapable situation on and off the pitch.
