Brian Stock

(Midfield)
Born 1981
Brian is an experienced Football League player who started his career at Bournemouth in 2000. Over six years with the Cherries he played 145 games before going on loan to Preston North End, with whom he then signed for a short stint in 2006.

Brian’s next move was to Doncaster Rovers in January 2007, having spent the start of the 2006/07 season there on loan from Preston. He played a vital role in Doncaster's 2007–08 promotion season, filling in as captain in the final two months - including their play-off final victory over Leeds United at Wembley. He is known for possessing a deadly long range shot and is a composed penalty taker.

In all, Brian played almost 200 games for Doncaster over six seasons before moving to Burnley in 2012, and then to the Hawks in September 2014. He quickly became a core member of the midfield, from where he has made 82 starts in the last two seasons.
