|Dennis has a rich history in and out of the football league stretching back to his start at Queens Park Rangers in 2001. He made 23 appearances there over three seasons, also enjoying loan spells at Gravesend and Northfleet and Farnborough Town.
One match for Swansea City followed in 2004, and four for Cambridge United, before a three season run at Grays Athletic from 2005-08 saw him play 111 games and score 21 goals. At Grays he not only helped the side gain promotion to the Conference National in 2005, but also played in no less than two FA Trophy finals, scoring in one of them. With Grays he played against the Hawks three times, scoring in the side’s 5-0 win in February 2005.
Dennis followed Grays manager Mark Stimson to Gillingham on loan in 2007, signing a contract in January 2008. A five season run followed that saw Dennis make 127 appearances, ending with a move to Wycombe Wanderers where he stayed for the 2012/13 season.
Dennis was one of the final signings before the start of the 2013/14 season, giving him time to appear in just the final friendly, where he scored in the Hawks’ 4-3 defeat to Charlton Athletic.
