| Paul joined the Hawks from an ailing Bognor side in January 2009 to fill the vacant right back position. He started life with Brighton and Hove Albion in July 2006 as a trainee, and in June 2007 moved to Conference National play-off challengers Torquay United, making seven appearances. Through the first half of the 2008/09 season he was a regular fixture at Nyewood Lane, playing in all but one of Bognor’s league games up to his move to the Hawks, where he played a further 17 games in the last four months of the season. Last term he appeared a further 26 times, filling several different positions on the pitch during a period of heavy injury for the Hawks. Paul is also the son of the other Paul Hinshelwood, who played extensively for Crystal Palace in the 1970s and 80s. |
