Kevin Scriven

(Goalkeeper)
Born 1984
Kevin made exactly 100 appearances for Farnborough over two seasons, debuting in August 2005 after a two year spell at AFC Bournemouth where he started as a trainee in 2003.

He joined the Hawks in June 2007 and made an immediate impact with an astonishing home debut against Portsmouth, in which he denied Pompey’s Ł6 million signing David Nugent a hat-trick of chances with top draw saves.

His goalkeeping ability then went on to become the stuff of legend during the Hawks’ FA Cup run in 2007/08 when he saved a critical penalty against Swansea City in the third round replay at Westleigh Park. This led to national exposure prior to the following game against Liverpool, when the Sun newspaper gave over two pages to him and an incentive scheme not to concede at Anfield that eventually saw Kevin win an expenses paid weekend in Spain for his performance.

Left the Hawks in June 2009.
