Mo Harkin

Born 1979
Derry born, Mo has played international football for Northern Ireland at youth and Under-21 level before he signed with Wycombe Wanderers in 1995. He stayed with the Chairboys for five seasons, and made local headlines when he became the subject of an 800,000 approach from Aston Villa, which fell through due to injury.

In August 2001 he moved to Carlisle, and then on to Aldershot Town, Nuneaton Borough and then Crawley in June 2002, where he stayed for three seasons before arriving in 2005 at Lewes via a short stint at Forest Green Rovers. Mo signed for the Hawks in May 2006 and became a regular in the side until a nasty injury to his foot sustained in an FA Trophy game against Gravesend and Northfleet in December prematurely ended his season.

Was unable to agree terms for a new contract in May 2008 after a patchy season marred by injury, despite scoring the FA Cup first round goal at York.
