Jamie Campbell

(Defence)
Born 1972
Jamie started as a trainee at Luton Town in 1991, and stayed there through loan spells at Mansfield Town and Cambridge United, with whom he eventually signed in August 1997 after a two-year tenure at Barnet. He moved from Cambridge to Brighton in June 1999, and arrived at Woking in February 2003 after two years at Exeter City and another at Stevenage Borough.

He joined the Hawks on loan from Woking in January 2004 as a replacement for injured Aaron Skelton, signing a two and a half year contract four weeks later. His arrival helped stabilise an uneasy defence and his powerful presence on the pitch has since on occasion seen him captain the team. Competition last season saw Jamie frequently on the substitutes bench, although ever reliable he still accumulated 33 appearances to take his total over the 50 mark.

Jamie was released from the Hawks on 23rd July 2005.
