FA rule in Conference’s favour

Havant and Waterlooville’s appeal hearing at the FA took place this morning, with the panel upholding the Conference’s decision to dock three points from the Hawks under the charge of "Bringing the conference into disrepute" for playing Tony Taggart against Weymouth in January. The deduction leaves the side currently needing to ensure a maximum point haul from their remaining two games, starting at Cambridge tonight, to guarantee holding onto the final playoff spot.
