Darts too much for Hawks

Sat Jan 7, 2012 : 17:22

The Hawks went down 4-1 at home to promotion chasing Dartford in their first match of the New Year. The Darts were two up after just half an hour with goals from Elliot Bradbrook and an audacious lob by Danny Harris showing the side’s playoff credentials.

The hosts clawed a goal back in the 64th minute when Scott Jones managed to scramble home the loose ball after keeper Louis Wells spilled a cross from Craig Braham-Barrett, but it didn’t take the visitors long to reassert their authority.

Harris added a third match killing goal in the 74th minute, and Lee Noble then sealed the win on the edge of injury time when his 35 yard free kick dropped in at the back post untouched.
