having followed my own advice , I went to listen and they have cocked it up because it was on earlier , might be worth trying the whole sports show , it was on about 20 to 6
And who'd have thought that afterall ,that something as simple as Rock'n'Roll could save us all.

The lessons learnt from the FA Cup run still live on... Westleigh Park has better paper towel dispensers than Anfield!!

Unbelievable!!! Like something out of the movies. The abyss was opened wide to consume the Hawks, and into the midst strode the superhero, everything seemed to stop, players stood motionless, fans stopped breathing, waiting for the ball to sail miles over the bar, but NO, the most cultured of toe-pokes has hit its target perfectly, and the most dramatic ending to a football match that I have ever witnessed was lost in the euphoria of that moment as WLP erupted in pandemonium. My daughter who must live a good half mile away asked what all the noise was about?

A huge pat on the back to the players and to Jonno and Adie, a massive thanks to all the fans who came along to give their full support and create a brilliant atmosphere, we can all rest easy now during the summer in the knowledge that far better times are ahead of us and The Hawks will once again claim to be 'flying high, up in the sky'

When are the fixtures out

Beautifully put Baz.

And while I'm talking about things beautifully put, Rich's summation of the final moments in his match report is utterly superb.

What a day. Well, what a minute to be alive! So many emotions, so little time.

Whenever I think of it, and I will a lot, I will tingle a bit. Goosebump city, population: thaaaasands!

Great moments in Hawk history.

Greatest moment in Hawk history, arguably.

:shifty:    :wtf:

Go to about 38 minutes

commentary starts from 39.12mins. Absolutely fantastic, sounded massive. :D

link to our bit in the programme: http://www.bbc.co.uk/i/p00r3krt/

Cliff Bledge commentating:
"Nanetti, Palmer, shot blocked, it's going to fall to Dolan, he's scored!!! Havant and Waterlooville have won in stoppage time. They were being relegated and now they've survived. Madness at West Leigh Park, the Hawks have scored, Joe Dolan has done it, arh my goodness me..."

Fantastic commentary. Please someone get this downloaded from the iPlayer and onto youtube or something. A classic piece of radio.

There is an interview with Jim Fallon afterwards which is good, and you can hear Ade start up his 'we are going up' in the background as Jim says a similar thing in interview regarding pushing on next season. Brilliant. Interview with Joe Dolan as well "I just wanted Ollie Palmer to get out of the way, he'd missed so many already!"... Jake Newton interviewed as well.
never get out of the boat, absolutely god damned right, unless you were going all the way...
