The white shirt was distinctive and, spotted around the local area, it could be recognised as a Hawks' shirt. Many clubs often change their away kits, but the home colours should remain sacrosanct.
Yes! whenever I see someone wearing a white shirt I never think of Spurs, Bolton, Fulham, Leeds, Real Madrid etc etc, I always think "that must be a neverwillville shirt"![]()
