The white shirt was distinctive and, spotted around the local area, it could be recognised as a Hawks' shirt. Many clubs often change their away kits, but the home colours should remain sacrosanct.

Yes! whenever I see someone wearing a white shirt I never think of Spurs, Bolton, Fulham, Leeds, Real Madrid etc etc, I always think "that must be a neverwillville shirt"  :

I find it very sweet that you have a pet name for us Hawks and have taken time out to post a message on Valentine's Night. Is there something you're not telling us? ;)

A change is as good as a rest  and if all it took to get rid of ExDOF was changing our shirts, I would have campaigned for it years ago

And anyway, isn't that the reason you have Gale as Manager (still) :?:

Sky blue is bloody awful and no sponsor or new owner should be aloud to change the team colours.

Ahem....

Sky blue, in the right hands, is a classic kit...just that there are some clubs out there that like to defile the colour.

Yes, I'd be rolling in the aisles looking at a struggling team who are all of three wins below you and working on a shoestring budget when the glorious new Eastleigh era has yielded two wins since Christmas. I'd take great solace in that.
