Ladies setback

The Hawks Ladies' promotion hopes suffered a setback at Gloucester today, as although Jess Lewry gave the girls an early lead the home side then capitalised on two chances. The Ladies were denied a point when Lewry headed into the net in injury time only for the linesman to controversially flag Charley Wilson offside.

The Ladies must win their two remaining league games to qualify for the promotion play-offs. The first of these matches will be at home to Southampton Saints next Sunday at Blackfield & Langley FC, ko 2pm.
