Postby ade » Tue Feb 09, 2010 12:44 am

filled in my paperwork to be submitted saturday :!:

but was amazed that 2 of my best buddies didn't realise the scheme was being introduced :?:

none of my business, but to maximise potential investors our club really need to punt out those envelopes saturday!!

it will only work if people know it's out there....
avant ville are united, now we'll NEVER be divided....

I'm going to put the forms and an explanation on here for Steve as soon as I get a chance to. If anyone's unaware it's like the one-ten club Thimble used to run but on a grander scale; weekly payments of a pound or more (paid monthly by standing order to the club) with a monthly pize draw.

Rich,
herself and I were thinking of doing a flat rate standing order for £10 a month between us, because £8 a month doesn't quite work out as a quid a week each.
From what I can see it would have to be monthly, so is the club planning to do Direct Debit and take out £4 or £5 per head depending on the number of accounting weeks in the month?
Probably shirts, but possibly pants...

£4.35 per month on the mandate will cover £1 per week and obviously £8.70 is you want 2 entries etc etc etc

Aha, thanks for that nibbles.
I think we'll stick to nice round numbers though, so £10 seems fine.

Their intention seems to be to use standing orders as opposed to direct debit, so you'd be able to set it to whatever you want. I'll have the documents they've provided up on the site by the weekend at the latest.
