Last night......

2 words: Just Brilliant. What a fantastic performance from the lads. Apart from the last 5 minutes of the first half where Torquay scored their 2 goals totally against the run of play, we steamrollered them for the other 85 minutes and won corner after corner (18 according to a Torquay fan who was obviously keeping count) and the scoreline could have been even bigger. Must go down amongst one of the great Hawks games under lights (not quite surpassing the Swansea epic maybe) but pretty much up with others.

Certainly get the feeling that this squad is now starting to show good it is over the last few games, and hope they can carry on in the same vein against Slough on Saturday.

Up The Hawks!

Great game last night. Totally outplayed them with cracker of a volley from a corner too. Not bad for a 'bang average NLS side' as some Torquay fans like to put it. I think Torquay would have lost to a Isthmian side last night, they were terrible.

Looking forward to Slough on Saturday and Charlton in the next round. From browsing Twitter, message boards, it looks like a toxic club with them wanting Adkins out so there's every chance of an upset!

Great game in very difficult conditions.
The team spirit after going 2-1 down was brilliant.
Hate to put a damper on the night but two things we dont need

1.One or two people making racial comments about Torquay players
2. Again a few people coming in at half time having sat in a bar .
I know that this is difficult to regulate but it should be easier on Saturday.Mpst will have either season tickets or the new ''1000'' cards so we should be able to restrict re-entry to these
