Vs Weymouth

Well, that was an exciting game! A great win.

Should have scored within the 1st minute, should have had another before Kedwell scored.
Weymouth then scored a wonder goal and started to get into the game before taking the lead through a penalty courtesy of a Benny Read handball (no qualms about that). Luckily Josh scored just before the break as it would have been a travesty going in behind at HT.

Jonah scored to re-take the lead courtesy of a great pass from Drury and cross from Read.
Only down side was the sending off of Gomes following two stupid challenges. Very unnecessary and assuming he will now miss the Slough game?
Continued to play well with 10 men despite a few scares but overall a good performance and an excellent 3 points.

Benny Read man of the match with a super performance and assists. Also impressed with Gomes before his sending off whilst Bailey and Kedwell were their usual hardworking niggly self's.

Another tough one awaits on Saturday before heading to Slough for a really crucial one...

A great win and a great advert for NLS football.

The game had a bit of everything, i thought we came out of the blocks so fast we could have been 3 nil up before they had a kick, typical of a few of our home games this year however we failed to take all our chances and the opposition came back into it,

Weymouth play decent football but you've got to say a worldy and a dodgy pen got them back into it, Taylor's goal however changed the half time team talk, it would have been a travesty if we had gone in at half time losing.

Second half once we had got in front, a great run and cross from MOTM Benny Read with Jonah doing really well and making sure he was first to the header. The team as a unit all defended well from then, 2 quick yellows saw Gomis sent off, he had played well covering across the midfield and will be an asset it seems. It felt like that was us done for but the lads were magnificent from then on in, Weymouth huffed and puffed but didn't really cause us too much trouble and we saw it out

onto another big game.......arent they all!
