Predictions for today?

Postby mrlibertine » Sat Feb 28, 2009 10:47 am

I'm hoping for a much better performance from the lads today. In terms of motivation the players should really be motivating themselves for this. And as we have shown all season. When the players are motivated then they are a match for anyone in non-league football. (If only we had a manager who commanded respect and could motivate them for the other games against the "lesser" teams. (bring back baird all is forgiven (well not quite)))

I'll take a 1-1 draw and a large attendence. I know alot of Pompey fans I work with are planning on going today to see AFC play. So perhaps with a good performance we can encourage these fans to defect to us and boost our gates for the rest of the season.

There's no such things as Rock stars, there's just people who play music , some of them are just like us and some of them are dicks

We tend to do well in the big games, and none can be bigger than welcoming the league leaders for a must win game
I think we'll play well but well get a 1-1 draw, mush like the Chelmsford game I think
The lessons learnt from the FA Cup run still live on... Westleigh Park has better paper towel dispensers than Anfield!!

Agree with you Nath, we could win this but I don't think the players believe they can. :problem:
They're there for the taking!
