Striker

Has anyone any idea who the new striker about to be announced is? Contractual complications apparently holding it up but they still hope to announce the signing I time for him to play in the Pompey match in Saturday.

I have to say I have no idea unless we have fully investigated the circumstances surrounding Elvis Hammond's previous convictions etc and are now happy to take him on from Woking?

Not sure who else - hope its not Craig Watkins, maybe Nathan Southbourne (think that's his name) from Totton, Justin Bennett from Gosport? Jason Prior on season long loan from Wimbledon to help him recover from his broken leg? Anyone else any thoughts?
Looking forward to next season and forgetting all about the dreadful season we've just experienced! Looking forward to seeing & welcoming: Matt Pegler, Sam Page, Ryan Moss, Ed Harris, Sahr Kabba, Clark Masters, Stefan Bailey & Tony Taggart.

Justin Bennett isn't good enough for this level imo. Won't be Elvis Hammond. Maybe we nicked a player off Rangers

Definitely not Elvis, he was jailed for a year when he appeared for sentencing at Oxford Crown Court this morning.

Someone said Roque Santa Cruz was seen in Lewes today...can't confirm whether he was looking to get on a West bound train or not yet though.

Could do a job?

Kabba would be a great signing, there was rumour a Connie south team were trying to sign him - can't think of any others really that would fit the mould and fit in with what we already have now at the club. kabba, Palmer, Jones and Moss would give Stuart a number of good options.
