That's the bit that excites me is the fact we now, with more investment, have depth in our squad. I think we had the right players last season and without the injuries and suspensions Galey had no choice but to put square pegs in round holes.

Hopefully with one more addition ;) we could be very competitive this year and build on it.

I can't make Winchester, but will be going to Selsey. in fact sadly I've already discovered 3 home league matches I can't attend and unfortunately can only attend the Carshalton & Bognor friendliest and that's with the help of a babysitter! I think overall we're going to be much better balanced team (although I know it's still early days yet) - I think the 2 centr backs both have good experience in this division and are relatively young too so real potential there, the striker Moss is hungry and I think Taggs will want to show he still has something - we need more of Nanetti's fighting spirit and more goals from midfield, tighten the defence up and we will be up the challenging. I know we have 2 potentially good keepers but I think this might be our only concern.....Holloway would have been a fab signing and I can't believe he changed his mind at the last minute to play for Margate just shows his real level of ambition, he'd have been the final piece for me - having said that one more decent signing will do instead, maybe another striker or attacking midfielder. Looking good and starting to get excited about the season.
