seeing that the whole world and his dog seems to have us tarred and feathered can I ask what, precisely other than make an offer to a player have we done ?
the player obviously has turned the offer down , so as far as I see it , we have NOT signed a player on an agreement that is outside of regulations , so how can we be docked points for something that hasn't happened ?
the whole thing might seem unsavoury and i've got to be honest it does seem to be a way of paying a player that would leave us open to this sort of allegation BUT I really don't see how , if we havn't signed a player how have we done anything against the regulations ?
who's to say that if the player had signed and his deal was posted with the FA that they wouldn't have told us that you can't do it this way ?
I must admit the thing thats bothered me most about the whole thing is why did the player go to the NLP rather than the FA ?
The whole article was high on innuendo and low on actual facts , I guess when he actually signs for someone we'll get a better picture of where he was pushed from

funny how there is no mention on the NLP website , when it was their front page exclusive

And who'd have thought that afterall ,that something as simple as Rock'n'Roll could save us all.
