Private sponsorship agreement. What before we've signed em. This maybe above board but it smells to high heaven. Bah this is maddening.

I know, crazy right! Spending way above the odds to try and create the illusion they are a bigger club! Always ends in tears, but they can dream for a while!

It does seem a bit odd that JF is stating that this deal had nothing to do with the club-who was going to the "£225 a week football wages"? He stated all the rest was going to be paid by his company Beaumont Heaters Ltd?
Looking forward to next season and forgetting all about the dreadful season we've just experienced! Looking forward to seeing & welcoming: Matt Pegler, Sam Page, Ryan Moss, Ed Harris, Sahr Kabba, Clark Masters, Stefan Bailey & Tony Taggart.

seeing that the whole world and his dog seems to have us tarred and feathered can I ask what, precisely other than make an offer to a player have we done ?

the player obviously has turned the offer down , so as far as I see it , we have NOT signed a player on an agreement that is outside of regulations , so how can we be docked points for something that hasn't happened ?

the whole thing might seem unsavoury and i've got to be honest it does seem to be a way of paying a player that would leave us open to this sort of allegation BUT I really don't see how , if we havn't signed a player how have we done anything against the regulations ?

who's to say that if the player had signed and his deal was posted with the FA that they wouldn't have told us that you can't do it this way ?

I must admit the thing thats bothered me most about the whole thing is why did the player go to the NLP rather than the FA ?
The whole article was high on innuendo and low on actual facts , I guess when he actually signs for someone we'll get a better picture of where he was pushed from

funny how there is no mention on the NLP website , when it was their front page exclusive
And who'd have thought that afterall ,that something as simple as Rock'n'Roll could save us all.

I don't think you get any of the main paper stories unless you buy an online paper

The paper and its exclusive came out Sunday. The online website hasn't been updated since Friday. Conclusion, the people who update the website are enjoying the jubilee weekend!

Hey "Josef" you have been very well behaved in recent months, but since Ade wound you up with a few comments regarding your esteemed benefactor "the chunterer", there are signs that you are beginning to lose it again. I think it is time to make another appointment with your "trick cyclist" as a precautionary measure; as this unhealthy obsession with all things "Hawks" is beginning to rear it's ugly head again. Having said that, It is of course extremely flattering to see all the "Hawks" related material on your message board.

Who needs the "Courts of Justice" when we have all your judges and juries to make the decisions! One thing you might want to ponder is why an under the counter secret deal would be put in writing? A contradiction in terms if ever I heard one! Maybe one or two members of the jury would like to think about that before jumping to conclusions in what is nothing short of a kangaroo court.
